This is Mom, but she has many names. Just a few of them being, The Fixer, Mom, Wife, Aunt, Grandma, and so many more. Growing up in the small town of Breckenridge Texas, she and my dad have built a legacy on our ranch that we hope will live on for generations to come. She has seen our family through the construction business, started her own embroidery business, supported our lifestyle, all while running a household with horses, cows, dogs, and (as Gretchen Wilson would say) the baby on her hip. She has taught me if there is a will, there is a way. I cannot genuinely think of a situation this woman has not set her mind to and achieved without grace and dignity. Starting this business or most new ventures did not come without many fears for me and most of them would end up with a conversation with Mom for her to remind me of my goals and the plan to get there. While she may not always be visible on the outside of our operations, she has always been a vital part of the system we have created.
